Finished front cover magazine

I feel impressed about the front cover as it looks good and taken a lot of time and effort, I have changed some of layout to how I originally wanted it this is because i realised that there was no eye catching feature included on front cover so then I added in a Pug which you can see is in a red circle, it relates to a freebie which readers would get attracted to and it easily draws attention, the artist name is enlarged and the cover lines show the three genres are represented in the music magazine whilst going with the overall special edition theme of the magazine( which is Bhangra and Vasakhi blending in music and lifestyle). Overall I think it looks good all the cover lines go with what the magazine is aimed for, it show a blend of lifestyle and music, more importantly its aiming both genres girls and boys; i did this by adding the girl on front cover (rather than having a male music star as in the Bhangra scene there are less female stars as shown in my research of music tribes) as well as the freebies are music related and gives the impression I wanted that this music magazine is music focused. As its aimed at all South Asians it was very important to show that other features in the magazine includes Bollywood and Urban Desi not just Bhangra even if it is a special edition, so i still added in the left third the cover lines to do with the associated genres. Furthermore, in the contents page the cover lines are mixed matched so new audience to other genres in the magazine can get a flavor of what that genre has to offer or interest, making more it more interesting and new for readers (for example not putting all one genres cover lines altogether as it look more boring, however on other hand I seen it as easy to find what you are interested in, but this was not the approach i was looking for but more of a discovery into the magazine to interest).
